The Blackbird has long been one of the major innovations from our AFS Advanced lab: a board loved for its glide, its balance and its unmistakable feel on the water.
This year, we wanted to share that same magic with more riders. So we took its iconic mid-length shape and reproduced it with our proven PVC Sandwich Glass construction, creating a more accessible and more versatile version: the Blackbird Mid Length by AFS.
With its mid-length outline, PVC Sandwich Glass construction and versatile design, it delivers glide, stability and control on the water.
Updated design, two colourways, five sizes: the Blackbird experience, simply more accessible.

PVC Sandwich Glass
Built to last
Built in PVC Sandwich Glass, it retains the original mid-length outline, delivering quick take-off, linear acceleration, optimised pitch balance and efficient pumping.
Its hybrid design makes it suited to wingfoil, parawing, SUP foil and surf foil, with volumes now ranging from 65 L to 100 L.
Disciplines
For 2026, two new sizes expand the range to cover even more disciplines and suit every rider build: a 5'4" at 65 L and a 5'8" at 82 L.
