AFS riders Axel and Milla have just completed two stages of the GWA Surf-Freestyle World Tour in the Canary Islands, delivering impressive performances and taking away valuable lessons for the rest of the season. Here is a recap…
🇪🇸 Fuerteventura: July 28 to August 2
Milla (first event on the Tour): 5th place, just 0.25 points short of reaching the final. “My scores keep improving, and I reached my first semifinal.”
Axel: also finished in 5th place. “Not the result I was aiming for, but I am getting closer to the top level. I know exactly what I need to work on.”
🇪🇸 Gran Canaria: August 5 to 8
Milla: eliminated in the first round, but still holding a provisional top-10 ranking in her first year on Tour. “I am already looking ahead to what comes next.”
Axel: 2nd place 🥈, with his first-ever perfect 10/10 score in competition and the very first double front successfully landed in a contest. “I feel stronger than ever. Now it is time to take the final step toward victory.”
A Canary Islands back-to-back filled with action, progress, and motivation for the upcoming stages.
