At AFS Advanced – our innovation lab, we believe true performance happens where technical innovation meets real-world riding. Our engineers design, our riders stress-test, and together we keep pushing the boundaries of design and performance.
The PURE 600 is that dialogue brought to life. Built over nearly a year of work with Axel Gérard, a young wingfoil prodigy and GWA Vice World Champion, this foil is a genuine performance accelerator – a concentrated dose of speed, control, and freedom.
What we’re offering you today is Axel’s World Cup setup. Not a replica. Not a toned-down version. The real deal. The exact foil he rides in competition. The one that took him to the next level.
Why developwith our GWAriders?
Because they operate in the most demanding environment there is: international competition. Every centimeter gained, every smoother pump, every bit of flight control can decide a heat and push a foil’s performance ceiling even higher.
How did we do it?
Designing a foil is a constant back-and-forth between lab and water. Our designers shape the future; our riders stress-test it in every condition. Then, together, they fine-tune until nothing’s left to chance.
For almost a year, Axel and our R&D team worked in an ongoing loop:

Dozens of prototypes later, we reached the PURE 600 PRO MODEL - the first foil co-signed by an AFS young champion and our R&D team.The result? A competition-ready foil, accessible to anyone chasing ultimate performance.

Working with Axel Gérard, our GWA rider, we pushed hydrodynamic efficiency even further.
His on-water feedback drove key design choices:
An ultra-thin profile to reduce drag.
A refined aspect ratio for stability and glide.
UHM carbon stiffness ensuring immediate response.
This foil is tuned for modern freestyle – big spins, long glides, clean landings. Its ability to re-pop after a trick (even when the board briefly touches down) is a major scoring advantage in GWA events – and one of the PURE 600’s biggest strengths.
