Quiver Tips

The trim angles of the SILK v2 and the U-surf have changed compared to the rest of our lineup. They were specifically chosen to provide plug-and-play adjustments for wave riding.

The longitudinal V is similar to what is usually done; however, we have reduced the angle of the U-surf stabilizer and increased the angle of the SILK.

Direct effect: This angle transfer directly affects the foil’s navigation angle, naturally reducing the rake for better control in tight turns.

For those who aren’t used to using a rake shim, keep in mind that this adjustment (rake shim or adjusted wing/fin angle) helps reduce power surges in the front foot. This means the mast can be moved forward about 1 cm further than usual. The pivot point for turns is then re-centered under your feet, making the combo exceptionally maneuverable.

The following combos are ideally compatible:

Enduro / Evo HA / SILK v1 / + U surf:

– While maintaining your usual rake settings, this setup requires a shim under the stabilizer of +0.5° or +1°, depending on the level of responsiveness and technical performance you’re aiming for. (Shim thickness toward the front)

SILK v2 + U Carve / U Glide:

– For ultra-aggressive riding, these stabs can be adjusted with a -0.5° or -1° shim (thickness at the rear)
