How to use the product

Assemble your foil in no time with just a few screws. Two for the stabiliser and two for the mast/fuselage connection.
You can leave your foil fully assembled. The only thing to check, especially when the foil is new, is the tightness of the wings and especially the Tbar in the case of a demountable foil. The parts are going to be made during the first sessions and may move a little.
At AFS we have always used full carbon. Full carbon means no corrosion or oxidation, so you don’t really need to rinse your foil. It’s just a quick rinse with clean water to remove any impurities that may be created by hydrocarbons or algae, depending on your spot.
It is not recommended to store wet foils in their covers. Storing a wet foil in a closed, unventilated cover can lead to discolouration or colour transfer, even if there is no mechanical risk of oxidation.
That’s the advantage of carbon, you don’t need to add anything – just ride!

Début de session ligth en kuji 1440 et cwc 6m et quelques risées autour de 15 noeuds m'ont poussées à passer en silk 850, foil au milieu du boîtier (f-one rocket 5.0 60l), takeoff compliqué et bcp de pieds avant, retour au bord, recul de 2 cm et la, la révélation ! Take off comme d'habitude en quelques coup de pumping et un régal en vol ! Dans les transitions, dans les "curve" c'est impressionnant de rapidité, fluidité et que dire du pumping en vol...un bijoux et un objet de plaisir ce silk ! Merci AFS Foils !

All boards with a US double rail are compatible with this foil. All Fuselink fuselages are compatible with the mast. All stabilizers are fuselage-compatible.
No, you can take to the water without any trim tabs. If you want to personalize your sailing, however, they are a good asset for coping with all conditions.

All AFS foils are manufactured at our company in Pencran, France. All AFS Advanced boards are also made here. Some of our boards are made in Tunisia at Terminatech, as are our covers. Finally, although we haven’t yet managed to make the leap, our wings are now made in China, although all R&D is carried out in-house.

All our products are packed in reinforced cardboard boxes. We ship all over the world, sometimes between private distribution, boat and plane… All our products are protected with various types of foam.

If the delivery has been accepted, simply use our contact page If you have not yet received the order, feel free to unpack the parcel in front of the carrier. In the event of the slightest impact, you can refuse the parcel – no financial charge will be applied. We have insurance for this. A new parcel will then be returned to you.
