The Icon
Some designs don't just perform.
They become a standard.
Developed in 2023 by the AFS teams and Laurent Borgna, the SILK range was designed to deliver exceptionally smooth carving, combined with remarkable stability and control, even in turbulent conditions. Its bumps, winglets, and adaptive design specific to each size were all developed to optimize glide, precision, and overall performance. This foil was never designed to chase extremes. It's built on something rarer: the pursuit of balance.
« IT WASN'T JUST A DESIGN.
IT WAS A FEELING RIDERS COULD FULLY TRUST. »

Same DNA.
Just further..
Releasing a version 2 was a delicate, almost risky task.
We had to decide how far to push performance levels without ever distorting what defines
's DNA. Because
has always been about control and predictability: it's a foil that supports you just enough, stays predictable, and invites commitment with confidence.
With the
, every change was designed to deliver more glide, more drive, more flow, more carving, while preserving this unique feeling that has made the
such a popular foil among riders.
This is exactly the kind of challenge where the full expertise of our AFS Advanced D-Lab makes sense. How do you evolve a foil that already had almost every performance slider near the top? The answer comes down to one word: precision.

SHARPER.
STRONGER.
SMOOTHER.
Every evolution was designed to deliver more glide, more drive, more flow, more carving — while preserving the unique feeling that made
iconic. It all came down to millimetric tuning.
SHARPER
We improved the wing's ability to guide you through carves. Thanks to work on dihedral and lifting surface, the wing locks in your line through turns: more stability, more control, more confidence.

STRONGER
We strengthened the range by offering a wider choice of sizes - now one of its biggest strengths. From 650 to 1150 cm², a size exists for every rider, every discipline, every session.

SMOOTHER
The reactions of the tips near the surface have been stabilized. Reduced ventilation effect, more natural rail-to-rail transitions, immediate carve initiation, constant sensation of fluidity.

The Designer's Voice
All these evolutions were designed with one clear goal in mind: to help intermediate riders progress with more confidence and fluidity, while offering expert riders a new playground to push their limits — without ever losing the fun, tolerance, and distinctive feeling that define theiconic. It all came down to millimetric tuning.

The Lineup
One range.
Six characters
Progression is personal, conditions change, riders evolve. With the
V2, our first goal was to expand the range with more precise sizes, so every rider can find the wing that perfectly matches their weight, level, and discipline. One rider. One intention — six characters sharing the same DNA. More choice for more precision and perfectly tuned sensations on the water.

High performance

Made for serious wave riding, tow-in, and strong-wind wingfoiling. Maximum maneuverability and control for riders pushing their turns and commitment to the limit.
